Learn to weave
Gourmet Weaving...Beyond the Recipe
Published weaving projects are a fine beginning, but there is more to weaving than following the recipe. Take charge of every aspect of your weaving and you will achieve exactly the fabric you imagine. Through this class, learn to take control of your loom and your project, and whip up something entirely of your own creation.
Manipulate and adapt the draft, seasoning the project to your own tastes.
Try different treadlings or tie-ups to add your own choice of spice to your project.
Whip up a design for your own scarf or table runner and weave it!
Level: some weaving experience, including warping a loom independently.
10 students maximum. Instructor's materials fee $15.00.

Immersion Weaving
Spend three days immersing yourself in the basics of weaving: winding a warp, dressing the loom, reading a draft, planning a project. Then you'll be ready to continue your weaving adventure independently. Designed for beginner level but advanced beginners will not be bored. This is a class to learn the process rather than one to produce a product, though if you work on your own loom you'll have a project on it to finish at home.
All equipment and some yarns provided in the class fee of $200. Limited to 6.
